Willow Trails System, Maps, Trail Cam, Maintained by the Willow Trail Committee

The best Place for Willow Trails, Maps, information and weather conditions for winter activities

The trail system maintained by the Willow Trail Committee goes right by us on Crystal Lake and is part of the Iditarod Trail! For information on The Willow Trails conditions, snow report, and weather, welcome to the Backcountry Warriors Willow Trails/Weather cam page. From here you will be able to see an updated image of the weather here every 5 minutes. A lot goes on around here with the weather, but there’s much more to see from the weather cam than just the weather! The main snowmachine trail to the Big Susitna River runs right by our lodge and in winter it’s always hopping with dog mushers, snowmachiners, cross country skiers, winter fat tire bikers, and people ice fishing. In the summer we have planes landing, people fishing, swimming, using paddle boats and anything else you can think of that happens on a remote lake. You may see moose hanging out in our yard nearly any time of year. Below is a very cool time lapse video that captures all the previous day’s events and weather for you to enjoy. Watch in full screen!
